Rugby Dog Training Club's Heelwork to Music competition held at Ryton on Dunsmore, Coventry
What a busy day!! Arriving at approximately 0930 the routines were already underway and being ticked off fast... After a quick refreshing cup of tea I started to piece together the camera equipment.
A few weeks ago I purchased a new sigma 120-300 f2.8 lens; horrendously expensive but I'd been finding that the 70-200 f2.8 just didn't have the reach needed to frame the images as necessary. It weighs loads too... which wasn't too helpful since I'd been off sick the previous week with a rather unpleasant cold. I struggled on for a few hours but it was just too heavy and eventually resorted to the mono-pod, which proved so much easier.
Thank you everyone who approached me and thanked me for the photographs at the January Paws and Music Show, it really is so wonderful that you are getting so much pleasure from the images. Regrettably my memory is absolutely terrible for names and faces; talk to me about structural analysis or design and I'll keep up, otherwise I'll be at the back of the class.
The day progressed swiftly and I thoroughly enjoyed being there with you.
Best Wishes
